Red Alert to all Tradesmen
Article published: 05/07/10, 9:00 AMThere has always been a loophole in the construction training world and all trade training centres claim that you can train to work in the domestic market, up until now this has been true but that loop hole is about to close.
To work on any building site you need to have a CSCS (construction site certification scheme) card and you cannot get your card without an NVQ level 2. In the domestic market that is not applicable but every tradesman must have liability insurance normally covering you for 1-2 million pounds.
If you do not have a recognised qualification at NVQ level 2 or above you will not get insured. This will be no different to driving a car uninsured and be treated in much the same way. Once this loophole is closed you will have to pay between £500-£1500 for the pleasure until then we can deliver this qualification for free, CALL US.
